The 2015 Summer Show will be “From Rags to Riches” – an evening of music, sketches and laughter. It features music spanning the decades – from the turn of the 20th Century, the era of the Great Depression, a few well-known show tunes, some 80’s classics, right through to songs from recent years. These will be interspersed with entertaining sketches, a mixture of reflective and humorous poems and a variety of dances, including a tap dance and a Bollywood routine. The show has two acts, the first centred on all things “Rags”, and after a short interval, Act 2 focuses on everything to do with “Riches”.
All profits will be going to the Gatehouse, an Oxford-based charity providing food, shelter and company to Oxford’s homeless and poorly housed population. We are also asking audience members to bring along a donation of non-perishable food on the night which will be donated to the Bicester Food Bank.
The show will be at 7.30pm on both Friday 17th July and Saturday 18th July, in Launton Parish Hall. Tickets cost £8 each, and will be available from 3rd June, from Launton Post Office.
