Announcing: "Treasure Island"

Our next performance is our 2026 pantomime "Treasure Island" - a traditional family pantomime suitable for all the family!

We've got a fantastic original script, packed with comedy, magic, audience participation and live music. There are free puzzle sheet for children, as well as free glowsticks in the interval so they can join in with the magic in the second half!

All profits will be donated equally to Dementia Active and Dementia Oxfordshire, who both provide activities and support to those with a dementia diagnosis, as well as their families in our local area.

Our Thursday morning performance will be a “Relaxed Performance”, aimed at those who might require a more relaxed environment. The show will be exactly the same but will involve the following adaptations:

• House lighting will be kept on at low levels throughout (apart from one scene which you will be warned about).
• Music will be turned down and there won’t be any very loud bangs.
• The auditorium doors will be left open so that you can come and go as you please.
• The foyer will be available to use as a chill out space.
• A visual story will be made available before the show.
• The main characters will be introduced before the show begins.
• The cast and crew will have an open attitude towards audience noise and movement.

E-tickets: These are delivered via email free of charge - you just need to show your booking on your phone or device, or print them off. Please note that TicketSource will charge you an additional fee if you choose to have your tickets posted to you or sent via text message. Programme and Refreshments: You can pre-order your programmes as well as pre-show and interval refreshments (including hot and cold drinks, snacks and ice creams) when you purchase your tickets. Doors open 45 minutes before the show, so come along and enjoy a drink before the show begins! (Products may be subject to change based on availability, but a suitable alternative or refund will be given if the item purchased is unavailable. A vegan ice-cream option will be available to purchase at the performance).

Accessible seating: There are 12 accessible step-free seats at floor level at the front of the auditorium for every performance. These seats will have freestanding chairs, which can be removed to create space for wheelchairs if needed. All other seating is tiered, and accessed via steps. The performance hall is approximately 170 meters from the car park. If you have any questions or access requirements, or require a disabled drop off point closer to the hall please contact us on tickets@launtonvillageplayers.org.uk or speak to our Car Park Marshalls on the day.

Performances will be from Wednesday 18th to Saturday 21st February 2026, in Cooper School Performance Hall. You can buy tickets up to two hours before each performance starts. After that time, please come on the door and our Front of House team will accommodate you if there is space.
